Solar
Power when the grid goes down
Inverter, batteries and panels, connected to your board on their own labelled circuit.
Start with what must stay on
Fridge, pump, lights, internet: that decides the inverter and batteries, and panels if you want to charge during the day.
The system gets its own circuit and changeover switch on the board.
- Connected to your existing distribution board
- Quote based on your actual usage
- Tested and labelled at handover

How a system is built
1
Usage
Together we list what must stay on, and for how long.
2
Design
Inverter, batteries and panels chosen, with the quote in writing.
3
Installation
Mounted, wired and connected to the board.
4
Handover
Tested, labelled, and we show you how it works.
Questions about solar
Can I start small?
Yes. Start with an inverter and batteries for load shedding, and add panels later.
Does it work on a farm without grid power?
Yes, then the system is designed bigger, with enough panels and batteries for the night.
Does the system have to be registered?
Example: confirm with Blyde which registration the municipality or Eskom requires for your area.
What about lightning?
We fit surge protection on the panel side and the grid side, because the inverter is the most expensive part.
